Shanyn has been an avid horsewoman for four decades.  She rode in the hunter / jumper / equitation rings as a child in New England and later became an event rider as an adult amateur.  She has worked as a freelance writer & photographer for the United States Eventing Association, and her photos have been published by the USEA, Eventing Nation, Chronicle of the Horse, and Horse Illustrated, among other major equestrian outlets.  She is available for equine photography for brands, organizations, and events.
